The Whole Self Process

Though we tailor our work to fit the needs of individual clients, four key principles remain consistent throughout:

Communication is Holistic:

Our work engages your whole self. You have to know what to say (your content), how to say it (your presence and delivery), how to work with your emotions, passion, fear, and stress (your heart). Our work develops repeatable processes and habits for developing each of these areas into holistic communication expertise.

Communication is embodied, not intellectual:

You wouldn’t go to a lecture to learn to dance. The same is true here. Immediate application and expert feedback transforms intellectual understanding into transformational experience.

Communication is individual:

For too long, developing “executive presence” meant training people to conform to a leadership model that was overwhelmingly weighted towards whiteness and maleness. Whole Self Communication is about developing leadership through authenticity, fully connecting to each person’s identity, instead of trying to fit a different one.

Communication takes time (you probably don’t have):

Our work recognizes that you have a million things to do. In order for our work to leave a lasting impact, it has to be able to fit into your life. Our model is based on demonstrating immediate impact, while giving you tools and support to continuously improve.
